About DLTC

Deaconess Long Term Care (DLTC), a member of Deaconess Associations, owns and operates long term care facilities in Ohio, Missouri and Kansas. In 1992, Deaconess Associations entered the long term care market with the purchase of Cottingham Retirement Community in Cincinnati and then brought other skilled nursing and retirement communities into the Deaconess fold.

The various levels of care offered at Deaconess Long Term Care facilities include: skilled rehabilitation, Alzheimer's and dementia specialty programs, assisted living and independent retirement living. We work within each community to provide care which meets the physical, emotional and psychological needs of our residents through appropriate activities and socialization. We are interested in serving the entire person. Deaconess protects the confidentiality of all medical records and other personal information for each resident.

Our care management philosophy takes the neighborhood environment into consideration and respects the unique characteristics of each area. We work together with each community to care for its members so they can remain productive members of society. Through the help of committed staff and caring families, aided by the Deaconess Foundation, our facilities strive to uphold the high standards which characterize all Deaconess services.
